A man from St Johns has been remanded in custody after being charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
30-year-old Donovan Bradley Kitching appeared before the Deputy High Bailiff at Douglas Courthouse this morning.
It follows a fatal road traffic collision on the Tholt-y-Will road on Saturday afternoon in which a female pedestrian was killed.
Kitching was charged with seven offences in total including driving whilst disqualified, escaping lawful custody, having no insurance, failing to stop after an accident, TWOC and possession of class b drugs.
He has been remanded until next Tuesday where the matter will be progressed towards the Court of General Gaol.
