A Port St Mary man who punched a barman after being asked to leave a pub he was barred from will appear in court again in September.
Loic Joseph Bourdiec of Bay View Road appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
He pleaded not guilty to causing actual bodily harm on July 21 last year but guilty to possessing cannabis in Clagh Vane in Ballasalla on April 10 this year.
Prosecutor James Robinson told the hearing Bourdiec was asked to leave the Haven pub on Station Road in Port Erin at around 1.15am on July 21.
Outside, he threw his drink over a woman who worked behind the bar before punching a male staff member who came to her aid.
Mrs Hughes adjourned the case until September 1, when a pre-trial review will be held.
