A man who made sexual suggestion towards a 14 year old boy, telling him he could show him the time of his life, will be sentenced next month.
Robert Black of New Road in Laxey appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 58 year old pleaded guilty to a single charge of provoking behaviour at the Ramsey Park Hotel on January 22.
Prosecutor Hazel Caroon told the hearing Black had been at an annual dinner for the Andreas Racing Association when he sat next to the boy and asked him if he was transgender.
Black, who was drunk at the time, told the youngster he looked like a girl and he was “into trans guys”.
The boy’s mother rang police and Black was later arrested, telling officers “bit mental, that”.
Magistrates told him his comments had been very inappropriate and bailed him to appear in court again for sentencing on May 26.
