Man Killed on Island Roads Member of Top UK Band

Jake \'Drake\' Brockman Member of Echo and the Bunnymen

It’s been revealed that Jake ‘Drake’ Brockman, the 53 year old who died on the Island’s roads the other day, was a member of iconic Liverpool band Echo and the Bunny men.

Brockman had been a full time member of the band since 1989, he died when his bike collided with a converted ambulance near Kirk Michael on Tuesday.

Fans of the band will know that they lost their drummer also in 1989 under similar circumstances.

Investigations into the crash are continuing.
