A man from Ireland has been jailed for four years for stabbing an Island resident at a music concert.
24-year-old Raymond Donnan from Clondalkin pleaded guilty to violent disorder and assault at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court this week.
He attacked Andrew England at a Swedish House Mafia concert in Phoenix Park in Dublin on July 7th 2012.
The judge heard Mr England was set on for ‘no apparent reason’ and was struck over the head with a bottle, stabbed in the arm and then multiple times in the back.
Mr Donnan was told it was lucky his victim had not suffered worse injuries.
Writing on his Facebook page after the verdict Mr England says he is relieved the ordeal is now over and is now ‘getting on with his life’.
