A man's been sent back to prison after smashing up his ex-girlfriend's home.
26 year old Jon-Paul Fayle of no fixed address admitted criminal damage when he appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
A further charge of theft was withdrawn by prosecution advocate James Robinson.
The court heard Fayle had started a relationship with a woman shortly after he left prison.
But on April 14, she told him she'd been unfaithful - and Fayle responded by smashing two televisions and stabbing a wall with a large kitchen knife.
Mrs Hughes heard Fayle had been on licence from Jurby jail and had since been recalled into custody.
She told him only a jail sentence was appropriate for the offence, and sent him to prison for 16 weeks.
