A man accused of causing grievous bodily harm has appeared in court.
58 year old Alan Neil Westwood of Maddrell Drive in Peel appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
He was committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery and the case was adjourned until a date to be fixed.
No plea has yet been entered and Mr Westwood was remanded in custody.
