A Peel man who dialled 999 and sent a menacing message has appeared in court.
32 year old Jamie Roy Griffin of Corran Pirragh called the emergency services joint control room on June 16, saying he was going to stab a man he claimed had assaulted him.
Police arrested him at home.
Magistrates fined him £500 and ordered him to pay £125 costs.
