A Merseyside man has appeared in court accused of trying to smuggle £120,000 of drugs to the Isle of Man.
Thomas James Taylor of Lilly Green in Walton appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 46 year old has pleaded not guilty to unlawfully producing six kilogrammes of cannabis bush to the Island and possessing the class B drug with intent to supply it.
Both offences are said to have been committed on April 24.
There was no application for bail and Mr Taylor was remanded in custody.
He'll appear again via live video link from Jurby jail on May 28.
