Ben Langley of Bowring Road in Ramsey appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 17 year old hasn't yet entered pleas to charges of theft and causing actual bodily harm.
He was bailed in the sum of £500 on condition he doesn't contact witnesses in the case, and he's next due in court on June 22.
