A man who's spent ten years banned from driving has been handed another ban for driving uninsured while disqualified.
Daniel Smith of Coronation Terrace in Strang appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
He pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and having no insurance on Douglas Promenade on July 11.
The court heard witnesses called police after spotting him at the wheel of his car on Queen's Promenade - he admitted he only had an expired provisional licence and hadn't retaken his test after his last ban around 10 years ago.
The court heard he'd already served two five-year bans.
Mrs Braidwood ordered him to do 200 hours of community service and pay £50 costs.
He was also banned from getting behind the wheel for 12 months.
