A man's been fined over a drunken struggle with a bouncer at the Island's casino.
Curt James Kinrade of Honeysuckle Lane in Douglas appeared before Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks at Douglas Courthouse.
The 32 year old admitted being drunk and disorderly at the Best Western Palace Hotel and Casino on April 8.
A further charge of assault was withdrawn by prosecutor Barry Swain.
The court heard Kinrade had been asked to leave in the early hours of the morning after he was rude to staff, but refused and had to be restrained by security.
His advocate told the hearing his client was mortified by his actions and had written a letter of apology.
Mr Brooks imposed a £400 fine and ordered Kinrade to pay £125 costs.
