A man who was stopped twice in three days by police because of faults on his van has been fined.
Mark Andrew Rowland of Waverley Terrace in Douglas pleaded guilty to five offences via a coroner's admission at Douglas magistrates court this week.
A police officer issued a notice to him on April 15 when he spotted problems with the 52 year old's tyres, registration plate, windscreen wipers and brake lights.
However, just two days later he was stopped again by a different officer and reported.
The court heard he'd fixed the problems within seven days - magistrates fined him a total of £400, ordered him to pay £50 costs and endorsed his licence with three penalty points.
