A man’s been fined for drunkenly swearing and shouting at police - but told he won’t be facing a ban from licensed premises.
Ashley Graham Kelly of West Hill Avenue in Castletown appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
He admitted being drunk and disorderly on King William’s Terrace in Castletown on August 29.
The court heard police were called after Kelly got into an altercation with friends at around 10.30pm, but when officers arrived he screamed abuse at them and threatened to stab them and kill their children.
Magistrates fined him £400 and ordered him to pay £125 costs but said they’d spare the 28 year old a pub ban.
