A driver who crashed his BMW into a barrier at a civic amenity site has been fined.
Daniel Sidney Andrews of Station Park in Colby appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
He admitted driving without due care and attention on April 3 last year at the Southern Civic Amenity Site on Castletown Road in Port St Mary.
Prosecutor Kate Alexander told the hearing Andrews was asked to move on by staff at the site, and crashed into a barrier as he drove off.
The court heard he'd been banned from the roads for 12 months just weeks later.
Mrs Braidwood fined him £350 and ordered him to pay £125 costs as well as putting four points on his licence.
