A man's been bailed as he faces a charge of causing grievous bodily harm.
32-year-old Anthony McCabe of Eyreton Road in Crosby is said to have carried out the attack on April 8 but hasn't yet entered a plea.
He appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
They bailed him to appear again on July 11.
