A man’s been remanded in custody as he faces charges of assaulting and resisting police.
Dean Anthony Whitehead of Heather Crescent in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse via a live video link from Jurby jail.
The 33 year old hasn’t yet entered pleas to charges of assaulting a police officer and resisting police in the execution of their duty on May 30.
Magistrates refused a bail application made by his advocate and remanded Mr Whitehead in custody to appear again on June 9.
