A man’s admitted causing £300 of damage to a football pitch by driving over it, but denies being high on cocaine and drunk at the time.
Caleb John Langton of Mona Street in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
He pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis, criminal damage and having no insurance, but denies driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs.
22 year old Langton is alleged to have had cocaine and alcohol in his system after he was arrested following the incident on March 17 at Pulrose football fields.
Prosecutor Barry Swain withdrew charges of failing to provide insurance documents and off-road driving.
Mrs Hughes bailed Langton to appear again for a pre-trial review on September 17.
