A 55 year old man died earlier today following a construction site incident in Kirk Michael.
Emergency services were called to the site on Balleira Road just after 11.30am, following a report of a work related accident.
The man who was working at the site died as a result of the injuries received.
An investigation is being led by the Health and Safety at Work Inspectorate.
Further details are expected in the coming days.
