Police have confirmed that a man has died following a wall collapse in Peel.
The man, who has not yet been named, was in his 50s and was believed to be carrying out excavation work.
It happened earlier this morning near to the former Creg Mallin Hotel.
Emergency services are on scene dealing with the incident and Peel Promenade has been closed off to traffic.
