A man’s appeared in court to deny stealing a day’s takings from Costa Coffee in Ramsey.
24 year old Jamie Brian Gelling of Beech View Cottages in Maughold appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse, when he denied one count of theft.
Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon said Mr Gelling is alleged to have stolen £305 from the café's safe on June 13 when he worked for the business.
Magistrates bailed Mr Gelling, who represented himself, to appear in court for a pre-trial review on September 3.
