A man's denied dangerous driving after an incident on the Mountain Road which allegedly saw an oncoming car swerve onto a verge to avoid him.
Rikki Goodall of Ashberry Avenue in Saddlestone appeared before Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks at Douglas Courthouse.
The 48-year-old denies a single count of dangerous driving on the Creg-ny-Baa Back Road in a Kia Niro on February 6.
Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the hearing at around 7pm, Mr Goodall overtook two vehicles - but when he tried to overtake a third on a blind left-hand bend, a car coming in the other direction had to swerve off the road to avoid him.
Mr Goodall, who represented himself in court, later told police he had done nothing wrong.
Mr Brooks adjourned the case and Mr Goodall will next appear on November 16.
