A man's appeared in court to deny indecently assaulting a woman in a Douglas nightclub.
Michael Geoffrey Kinvig of School Lane in Santon appeared before Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks at Douglas Courthouse.
The 32 year old denies a single count of indecent assault at 1886 Bar and Grill on December 12 last year.
Prosecutor Hazel Carroon told the hearing Mr Kinvig is alleged to have approached the woman on the dancefloor and began touching her.
The court heard the woman claimed she'd been touched on the waist and bottom before Mr Kinvig slid his hand under her dress.
He's alleged to have tried to move her underwear but she stopped him and complained.
Mr Brooks said the case was suitable for trial in the summary court.
Mr Kinvig was bailed in the sum of £500 and will next appear in court on September 15 for a pre-trial review hearing.
