A man's appeared in court charged with failing to provide a breath specimen after he was stopped by police for drink driving.
Christopher Tomkinson of Tynwald Road in Willaston denied the charge when he appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
Prosecutor Barry Swain told the court Mr Tomkinson was pulled over by officers on June 17 on Ballanard Road and failed a roadside breath test.
When he arrived at police headquarters, he was asked to blow into the intoxlyser machine but Mr Swain said he made no attempt to do so.
Mrs Hughes bailed the 32 year old in the sum of £500 until August 28, when he'll appear again for a pre-trial review.
