A man from the south of the Island has appeared in court accused of possessing indecent images of children.
Paul Joseph Egan of Orry Place in Castletown appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 55 year old is facing three charges of possessing the images on January 17.
The court heard the allegations relate to eight images found on a mobile phone.
Mr Egan denies the charges, and was bailed to appear in court again on July 9.
