A man from Ramsey has denied having not tax on his car - because it didn't have an engine.
Anthony Graham Stevenson of Thornhill Park in Ramsey appeared before magistrates this week.
He's admitted failing to notify the Treasury of the car's change in ownership.
In court, he said the vehicle isn't "motor-propelled" as read out in the charge because he'd removed the engine from it.
He'll appear in court again on Thursday, November 24.
