A man’s been committed to stand trial at the Court of General Gaol Delivery over allegations he assaulted his elderly parents.
54 year old Antony John Ellis of Baymount in Port Erin denies two counts of assault causing actual bodily harm on May 1.
He appeared for committal proceedings before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
There was no application for bail and Mr Ellis was remanded in custody to appear again on a date to be fixed.
