A man charged with wielding a tyre jack during a fight has been committed to the Island's higher court.
Brian Paul Wooton of Demesne Road in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 45 year old denies affray and possessing an offensive weapon near his home on August 29.
Mrs Hughes committed him to the Court of General Gaol Delivery to stand trial, and bailed him in the sum of £500 on condition he doesn't contact two men charged in connection with the same incident.
He's due to appear in the higher court on a date to be fixed.
