Man charged with assault remanded in custody

A 21-year-old man has been remanded in custody after being charged with wounding with intent.

This was after another man had to be taken to hospital early on Sunday morning following an altercation.

Stephen Binding will remain in custody until May 22.

Police would still like to speak to any witness to the incident. If anyone has any information they’re asked to contact DC Butler at Police Headquarters.
