A man who forced his way into his ex-partner's flat in a row over their children will be sentenced next month.
Ivaylo Blagov Stanchev of Tynwald Street in Douglas admitted using provoking behaviour on April 14 when he appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
Prosecutor Hazel Carroon said Stanchev had argued with his wife about his children's passports and had turned up at her flat on Clifton Terrace.
As she tried to close the door, he barged his way in to search for the documents, pushing her aside and trying to grab her mobile when she called police.
Stanchev, who has a previous conviction for assaulting the woman, was granted bail and will be sentenced on June 11.
