A 33 year old man has been charged with criminal damage following a serious incident over the weekend.
Graffiti was sprayed over a garage door in Castletown in the early hours of Saturday morning.
It related to the recent murders of two policewomen in Manchester – one of whom previously lived in the Isle of Man.
The content also made reference to Hillsborough.
The man will appear at Douglas Courthouse this morning.
