Man caught trying to access Douglas vehicles

Motorists are being urged to make sure their vehicles are locked, following a man captured on CCTV trying to enter parked cars.

An individual was spotted trying the door handles of cars parked around Ballabrooie Way in Douglas in the early hours of Saturday. 

However, he failed to gain entry and has since been been arrested and charged.

Residents who live in the targeted area are being asked to check vehicles for obvious signs of entry, and to report anything they find to police headquarters.
