A man who had a knife in a bag when he climbed into an off-duty detective's car will appear in court again next month.
Jacob Peter Hogg of Palace Road in Douglas denies using threatening language towards the officer and possessing a prohibited article in Bathurst Street on March 27.
The court heard the officer was with her young child when Mr Hogg is alleged to have committed the offences.
He was bailed in the sum of £250 on condition he cooperates with mental health services and will appear again on June 12.
