A Ramsey man’s been bailed following allegations he tried to have almost £30,000 worth of cannabis mailed to his home.
Conor Robert Ryan Maguire of Brookhill Road appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse via a live videolink from prison.
The 24 year old entered no plea to one count each of being concerned in the production of cannabis and attempting to possess it with intent to supply it on August 21.
The court heard police intercepted a parcel containing 989 grammes of the class B drug worth £29,687.
He was bailed in the sum of £500 to an address on Queen’s Pier Road in Ramsey and will appear in court again on October 26.
