Police are investigating an incident of aggravated burglary at a house in Ramsey last week.
A 62 year old man was assaulted by two men that he’d disturbed whilst they were trespassing in his home.
The attack left the man with significant injuries although they’ve been described as non life threatening.
The offence was committed in the property on the corner of Bowring and Coburg Road at about 7.30pm on Wednesday.
The house has been examined by crime scene investigators, and the results of forensic tests are awaited.
