A Polish man who assaulted his disabled brother has been ordered to do community service.
David Anthony Dudziak of Derby Road in Douglas pleaded guilty to causing actual bodily harm when he appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The hearing was told Dudziak lost his temper during an argument about money and assaulted his sibling, who has muscular dystrophy.
His advocate told the court the 38 year old had been under immense pressure at work and at home, where he was his brother’s sole carer.
Mrs Hughes ordered him to do 160 hours of unpaid work and pay £125 in costs.
