A man arrested on Laxey beach this morning has been charged with breaching Coronavirus regulations.
Police have confirmed the news in an update this evening saying the individual has been charged with an offence contrary to The Public Health Protection (Coronavirus) Regulations 2020
Superintendent Stephen Maddocks says no further comment will be made by the constabulary at this time and is asking members of the public to also avoid speculating about the matter.
The man is due to appear before court tomorrow morning (March 26.)
