A man has been arrested following the death of a 21-year-old cyclist at the weekend.
Luke McNicholas died on Saturday afternoon after a collision with a vehicle at around 3.20pm.
Mr McNicholas was riding his electric bike along the public cycle path in St John’s towards the Western Civic Amenity site.
Police have confirmed the driver of the vehicle has been arrested in connection with 'road traffic offences at the scene'.
The 29-year-old has been bailed pending the outcome of ongoing enquiries.
