Man arrested following assault outside McDonalds

Police arrested a man this morning following an assault outside McDonalds.

The incident happened at 5.15am between the car park and the Ellan Vannin Gym.

In the wake of the arrest police then had to deal with sporadic minor disorder offences around the Peel Road area - they involved 16 to 18-year-olds.

Anyone who saw what happened has been asked to come forward.
