A man has been arrested following an incident in the Islands capital last night.
At around 9.45pm on Monday, January 14, Officers dealt with a silver Peugeot which was crashed on Westmoreland Road near to its junction with Princes Street.
The man currently under arrest has been receiving hospital treatment, however two other people who were in the car and dressed in dark clothing fled the scene.
The constabulary would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or could identify the two people who made off from the area, those with information are being asked to get in touch with Police Headquarters.
