A man's been arrested after an attempt to steal a Mercedes van in Douglas last night.
It happened at around 10:15 in the area of Groves Road near the New Castletown traffic lights.
Police said one man was detained by a member of the public while another managed to escape by running off towards Quarterbridge.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police headquarters.
