A man who stole building materials from the Home of Rest for Old Horses has admitted stealing almost £17,000 from a gardening company.
Jonathan Ffinlo Pressley of Alberta Drive in Onchan appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 37 year old pleaded guilty to stealing £16,850 from Dave Noble Gardening Ltd between August last year and February this year.
Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the hearing Pressley had agreed to look at the company accounts, but he used blank cheques to pay himself the money without permission from the firm.
He'd previously admitted stealing a substantial amount of building materials from the Home of Rest for Old Horses on Richmond Hill between February 1 and 14.
Mrs Hughes bailed Pressley and committed him to the Court of General Gaol Delivery for sentencing on June 3.
