A Ramsey man will be sentenced in October after trying to get a child to commit a sex act in an online chatroom.
37-year-old Andrew Peter Corkill, of North Shore Road, had explicit conversations with the 13-year-old -from the North West of England - last year.
At Douglas Courthouse last week he pleaded guilty to two counts of attempting to procure the child to commit an act of gross indecency in June.
He also admitted three charges of attempting to commit an act of gross indecency with a child from October and November.
Social Enquiry Reports have been requested before Corkill is sentenced on October 13th - he's been bailed until that date.
