A man who sent topless pictures of himself to his ex-girlfriend after being warned by her advocate not to contact her has admitted harassment.
Glenn Gillon of North View in Peel appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 47 year old had initially denied the offence but changed his plea to guilty.
The court heard he repeatedly sent her emails and text messages criticising her appearance and social life, and on one occasion banged on the window of a chemist when he spotted her inside.
Magistrates heard he had a similar previous conviction dating back nine years – they bailed him in the sum of £500 on condition he doesn’t contact his victim.
He’s due to appear in court again for sentencing on June 30.
