A Douglas man's admitted causing grievous bodily harm after an attack which fractured a man's eye socket.
32 year old Anthony McCabe punched the man three times in the face as he lay on the ground at Esplanade Lane in Douglas on April 8 after the two clashed in an earlier incident in a pub.
Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood said the case would have to be heard in the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
McCabe, who lives on Central Promenade, was bailed to be sentenced at the higher court on a date to be set.
