A man’s admitted fighting another man outside a Douglas nightclub.
Caleb James Machonna Stowell of Cronk Y Berry View in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 32 year old pleaded guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm on Regent Street in Douglas on November 27 last year.
Prosecutor Roger Kane told the bench Stowell was outside 1886 at around 8.45pm when he saw a friend arguing with a man he didn’t know.
When he intervened, the man headbutted him and bouncers separated the pair, but Stowell is said to have gone back and pushed his victim to the ground before punching him several times in the face.
