A drug-driver has been banned from the roads for two years after police spotted him weaving across centre white lines on the Mountain Road.
David Peter Sleeman of Queen's Promenade in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 35 year old admitted a charge of driving his Audi while over the cannabis limit on Johnny Watterson's Lane on December 15 last year.
The court heard police spotted unemployed Sleeman cutting corners at Keppel Gate shortly before 8pm and smelled cannabis when they stopped him.
Blood tests later showed he was 50 per cent over the limit.
He was fined £900, ordered to pay costs of £125 and banned from driving for two years.
