A man from Douglas has pleaded guilty to drink driving after a serious crash on Douglas Promenade last week.
39-year-old Radoslaw Nelke was involved in the incident on Queen's Promenade on March 17th.
He was breathalysed and was found to be over twice the legal limit - appearing at Douglas Courthouse earlier this week he admitted the offence.
The court was told he was travelling at speeds of up to 80 miles per when he crashed - his five year old child was also in the car.
The case has now been adjourned until April 26th - Nelke has been bailed in the meantime with a condition that he isn't allowed to drive.
