A Peel man who’s admitted assaulting his girlfriend and damaging her door will stand trial after denying breaking her mobile phone.
Matthew Paul Hampton Jones of Ballatessan Meadow appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 51 year old pleaded guilty to common assault and one count of criminal damage, but denies a second count.
He was bailed in the sum of £500 to appear in court again for trial on February 27.
