A man's admitted claiming benefits without admitting he was working, wrongly netting him more than £1,000.
Craig Phillip Teare of Crossag Close in Ballasalla appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 36 year old pleaded guilty to four counts of making false representations to obtain benefits between October and November last year, and stealing £428 worth of goods from Boots in Strand Street on July 1 last year.
Magistrates bailed him to appear again for sentencing on March 16.
